Where is your business located?

DigitalAspirations is a Round Rock, Texas business and we take clients from anywhere in the Austin - Round Rock area. We do not have a “store front,” but rather meet you by appointment at your home, our home studio,  or local venue of your choice. All product photography is completed in our home based studio. You can deliver the product or we can pick it up.

What days of the week of the week do you schedule appointments?

We do business by appointment only.  My favorite time for family & canine photo sessions is early in the morning on week days or Saturdays for natual light portraiture. This is when the lighting is best. Alternatively late afternoons beginning around 5:30 pm can be nice as well. Photo session inside our home based studio can be scheduled anytime from 8 am until 4pm with a preference for Saturdays.

Where can the photo session be done?

We can conduct your photo session at our home based studio using professional lighting. Alternatively, we can capture your images at your home or at a local venue in the Round Rock area.

Do I get to choose the photos that will be used in my wall portraits, wall collections, and albums?

Yes, we will schedule a viewing and ordering appointment about a week after your photo session. At this session you will get to see a slide show of what we think are the best images captured. Using projection, we will show examples of what the portraits might look like hanging on the wall. This will help you make informed decisions about what size and what framing is appropriate for your home. I’ll help you go through the images noting which images are to be used for which products. Payment is due at this appointment and no products will be ordered until they are paid for.

What forms of payment do you take?

We can take payments in the form of Visa, MasterCard, checks, and cash.

Who owns the license to your photos?

You will be purchasing photo based “art” products. In the art world the copyright belongs to the artist who creates the art. As the client you are paying for the expertise, time commitment, physical product you receive, and a license to display that art in your home. You will receive a license that explains both  the permissions you have for this art and also how the artist will use that art. Generally, this means we will have permission to display your art on our website, in printed marketing materials, in presentations about our services, and in social media services unless you specifically request in writing one or more of these actions does not occur. You will have permission to display the printed art in your home. You will also have permission to display low resolution water marked images in social media. Publishing high resolution images or entering the image in contest will require an additional license.

When do we pay?

For our Custom Portrait Services, you will pay the session fee when you book the session. Then at the Viewing & Ordering Appointment, you will make payments for the products you are ordering. If needed, we can make a payment over time schedule, but the products will not be ordered until payment is completed.
