Keith Mitchell, Ph.D. is the principal photographer at DigitalAspirations. Keith is a member of the National Photographers Association of America (PPA) as well as the Austin PPA photographer’s guild. He has attended hundreds of hours of photography workshops and conferences, building his skills for professional level work. His work has won several first place awards at the Austin PPA guild. Keith has attended the Texas School of Photography week long mentor-driven training for four years, working with some of the most renowned photographers in the nation. 

Along with his professional skills, Keith will be using professional level photography equipment, including the premium Nikon camera and lenses required to produce large format prints. Keith has been recognized for his advanced software driven post processing skills required to transform a photo into a work of art worthy of your wall. 

 Dr. Mitchell is a retired educator with careers which included a classroom teacher, Texas Education Agency education technology consultant, Apple computer where he served as an executive education briefing consultant, and the University of Texas Science Education Center where he supported state-wide science/math teacher in-service programs. 

Keith enjoys sharing his passion for photography with others and has recently taught a photography course for the Friendship International ministry at First Baptist Church in Round Rock where his family attends. Keith regularly volunteers his photography and media skills to support his church family and non-profit causes in the community. 

 Dr. Mitchell will often involve others in the photos shoots, including youth that he is training in photography skills who will act as “dog wranglers” and second shooters. These participants will work under his immediate direction and supervision.
